MISSION STATEMENT 11 Mile Has It All is a new voice of business in Royal Oak, providing advocacy, promotional and benefit solutions for its members and community partners. Our goal is to advance economic progress and quality of life for business and residents through a social system based on opportunity, individual freedom, initiative, incentive, and responsibility. 11 Mile Has It All strives to contribute a clear persuasive voice for the resident and business community in governmental affairs on federal, state, county and local levels. We will offer services designed to empower the public and private sectors to improve productivity, and promote the 11 Mile Road and the Royal Oak area as an economic, educational and recreation center while providing membership services and networking opportunities for its members and community partners. The mission of 11 Mile Has It All is to improve and enhance the economic vitality of 11 Mile Road and the quality of life for the total community. In pursuing its mission, 11 Mile Has It All will endeavor to do the following: Encourage extensive community involvement in pursuing community goals Be responsive to the needs of business and the community Provide services for the membership and community Present the views of the 11 Mile Road business community Develop, promote and provide leadership 11 Mile Has It All will accomplish its mission through the leadership and guidance of the Officers, Committee Chairs and Board of Directors. Bottom Line 11 Mile Has It All strives to be a visionary leader in Royal Oak and Oakland County providing partnership opportunities for business, community and government.

The idea behind 11 MILE Has It All started with Jim Thienel, the owner of Berkley Appliance and Computer in Royal Oak, Michigan. During these difficult times in the Michigan economy, Jim understands that many local businesses are suffering and something needs to be done. His idea was to develop a local business cooperative whereby businesses along 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak, Michigan, would benefit by joining an alliance. This group of business friends is in its infancy, but the reaction has been profound. Dozens of businesses in a matter of days are joining the coalition and dozens more will soon follow. This effort will dramatically expand the capabilities and marketing efforts of what only one 11 Mile Road business could achieve. This is because the cooperative group will assist one another to ensure business success and more economic opportunities. 
As Jim Thienel goes door to door to discuss this opportunity with his business neighbors, the reactions he's receiving have been profound. Using 11milehasitall.com as the virtual hub for this organization, while at the same time utilizing social media online, the goal of 11 Mile Has It All is to ensure further business success is on the horizon.Since there is a multitude of different business types along 11 Mile Road, our goal is to remind consumers that there is a world of choices right in their neighborhood. This group of business friends will meet frequently to share ideas, concerns and innovative ideas to ensure everyone's success.
